Freckleteen had flown from the doctor’s office to pick up her brother but was side tracked by the opossum. I heard that yell for help, and then I did help, but it wasn’t the voice I thought I heard. And who is Paul? Her spirited energy zipped through Niggle-Gnat Winderwood Glen. Perplexed by an unfaerie-like mood, her effervescence suddenly fell flat as stale soda pop. Even so, sunshine streamed down through flaming yellow flowers in the Broom trees. Her wings, much lighter than her mood, twinkled hints of pinkle-green and waved to a Monarch Butterfly, vibrant flowers spontaneously bloomed.
The cool moist air felt refreshing. Freckleteen flitted about and swooped through draping pastels of Willow. Babbling water flowed over rocks in a nearby stream. “I feel less moody outdoors,” she said, and catching a wind, she reunited with her bubbly nature. Beneath her grew stalks of Red-Shank. She swooped down colliding with a flower stalk, boing—splat, she landed on her behind in a clump of four leaf clovers …
